so, to have the picture at the top of your blog (like mine with the pictue of the guy and it says "american nightmare comics) instead of just the title, go to the "template" section of the blogger menu thingy. then it should show you something that lists everything that is on your blog under the "page elements" section. The first thing you can click on to edit should be the title or something, and when you click to edit it, it will give you an option to upload a picture instead of having just text. That means you will you will have to make an image to go there if you want one, and if you want it to say something as well, you have to put that in the image as well.
On the same "page elements" tab, there should be an option to "add a page element." When you click on it, a big list of different things you can add should pop up, and the one to add so that you can add links to other stuff is called "link list" I think. Then once you add it you click on it in the "page elements" tab to edit what links you want and stuff.
I would just play around with what you want on your blog and stuff in terms of the different things like the link list and all the other neat things you can add, because you can always go back to normal by just removing specific things, or picking a new template or something, because even if you change all the stuff in your blog, it will keep all your posts. Like you can change how everything looks every day and you will still have all your actual posts, so it's not like you have to re-enter everything if you change how stuff looks. I changed mine like, seven times before I even showed it anyone.
